Alberto is interested in science, fiction, magic, and realism.  He is currently a writer on WIDOW’S BAY, a new show for Apple from creator Katie Dippold and director Hiro Murai. He previously wrote for MRS. DAVIS, from Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof, and GASLIT, a show about Watergate starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. He is adapting James Albon’s THE DELICACY for Peacock, and has developed projects with Universal, Warner Brothers, and Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media.   His short film, everything & everything & everything, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was later acquired by Vice.  He is a Sundance Fellow through the Latino Screenwriting Project for his original screenplay MOTHERBEAR.  As a producer, he spearheaded commercials for companies like Intel and Ally Bank, and also produced THE OPPORTUNIST, a short which premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.  In a previous life he worked as a freelance reporter for NPR.
